A free, verified directory for the nonprofit sector

Tovera is a free, curated calendar of professional events for the nonprofit and social-impact sector across the United States and Canada: conferences, summits, webinars, workshops, networking events, roundtables, and courses. The goal is simple. Help the people who run nonprofits plan their year instead of chasing it, with every worthwhile event in one place.

Today Tovera lists 300+ upcoming events from 160+ sources, with filters for free and virtual events. It is built and maintained by a former nonprofit major-gifts fundraiser, so the curation reflects what practitioners actually need, not what is easiest to scrape.

How we verify every event

Every event on Tovera is confirmed on the organizer's own live page before it is listed, with a real date and a working registration link. We do not publish guessed dates or AI-generated event data, and we link back to the official source for every listing so you can check the details yourself.

A twice-weekly automated scan re-checks our full source list and surfaces newly posted events, and a person reviews every public submission before it goes live. When an event's details change, or it turns out we cannot verify it, we fix or remove it.

No pay-for-placement, ever

Organizations cannot buy a listing, a ranking, or a feature on Tovera. We do not take money to add, promote, or reorder events, and a listing is never an ad. Everything is listed on the merits and free to browse. Our only aim is to be genuinely useful to the sector.

Who is behind Tovera

Tovera is operated by Giving Bridge Consulting. It grew out of years of frontline fundraising work and a simple frustration: there was no single, trustworthy place to find the trainings and gatherings the sector runs. If your organization wants a listing corrected, added, or removed, we handle it promptly and for free.
