Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to know about Tovera and how it works.

What is Tovera?

Tovera is a free, curated directory of professional events for the nonprofit and social-impact sector across the United States and Canada: conferences, summits, webinars, workshops, networking events, roundtables, and courses. It gathers events from hundreds of organizers into one searchable calendar.

Is Tovera free to use?

Yes. Browsing, searching, and filtering every event on Tovera is completely free, and no account is required. Many of the listed events are free to attend as well.

How are events verified?

Every event is confirmed on the organizer's own official page before it is listed, with a real date and a working registration link. Tovera does not publish guessed dates or AI-generated event data, and no organization can pay for a listing, a ranking, or a feature.

How often are new events added?

Continuously. An automated scan re-checks the full source list twice a week and adds newly posted, verified events, and a person reviews every public submission before it goes live.

Who is Tovera for?

Tovera is for the people who run nonprofits: fundraisers, executive directors, program and operations staff, marketers, grant writers, and consultants who want to find the trainings and gatherings that matter to their work.

Can I submit an event?

Yes. Anyone can submit an event through the Submit page. A person verifies it against the official source before it is published, usually within 24 hours.
